Gumball 3000 Rally 2007 – Checkpoint Amsterdam

Ik kom net terug van de Gumball 3000 Rally, wat een sensatie! Amsterdam was de thuisbasis van het eerste Checkpoint van deze geniale race. Startpunt is London, uiteindelijk rijden ze richting Frankfurt om daar op het vliegtuig richting Istanbul te vertrekken. Vanuit Istanbul rijden ze weer terug richting Londen, om zo de volledige “3000 miles” compleet te maken (zie onderstaand schema voor details)
Wat een sensatie net, zoveel mensen die uiteindelijk op zijn komen draven om dit mee te maken. Waterlooplein was voor de rest van het verkeer totaal ontregeld door de komst van de supercars. Helaas hebben we niet alle supercars gezien, maar de topper van deze avond waren toch wel de Jaguar XJ 220 & de nieuwe Ford GT. Geniaal! De foto’s volgen zsm

Maar ff serieus, dat is echt de ultieme verkrachting van een supercar
Geloof me, in het echt is de XJ220 echt te bruut voor woorden!
